SUMMARY:Course on Molecular Pathology and Targeted Therapy in Endometrial and Ovarian Cancer
DESCRIPTION:This course is focusing on the molecular pathology of endometrial and ovarian cancers and how knowledge of developments in this field has impacted on the understanding of diseases and how this information can be used to develop a targeted therapeutic approach. The course will be taught by an international faculty of Pathologists and Clinicians to integrate learning in this rapidly advancing field. \nThe course will cover key elements of Molecular Pathology of Endometrial and Ovarian Cancers. Each topic will relate directly to the clinical relevance of the area. The key subject areas are \n\nMolecular Markers in High Grade Ovarian Cancer\nLow Grade Ovarian Cancers\nClear Cell Ovarian Cancer\nEndometrial tumours\, including trophoblastic disease\n\nThe format will include brief presentations followed by interactive discussion with the audience. There will be a special session focused on case studies presentations and discussions.
