Not only does heavy menstrual bleeding appear to be far more common than originally thought but it is likely that the overwhelming majority of those with heavy menstrual bleeding are affected by iron deficiency and its related impacts on cognitive and physical function. DESCRIPTION:Spoštovani! \nV Slovenskem menopavznem društvu in Združenju za ambulantno ginekologijo skrbimo za ohranjanje in nadgradnjo strokovnega znanja\, zato tudi letos nadaljujemo s tradicijo prirejanja izobraževanj. \n\n\nLetošnja jubilejna 10. šola reproduktivnega zdravja žensk 2024 je ponovno organizirana v štirih terminih\, z namenom\, da si lahko vsak udeleženec izbere datum\, ki mu osebno najbolj ustreza. Ker pa smo nekoliko že spoznali zakonitosti Covid -19\, smo se odločili\, da tudi letos ponudimo kombiniran model šole. V obdobjih\, ko predvidoma ni vrhov okužb\, bomo izvedli termine šole v živo\, ostale termine pa spletno. \nOba spomladanska smo že uspešno zaključili. Jesenska termina sta: torek\, 8. oktobra – v živo in v sredo\, 23. oktobra – spletno. Izberite obliko\, ki vam bolj ustreza! \nPrijave bomo sprejemali: \n\n\n\nza 3. termin šole do vključno 1. oktobra\,\nza 4. termin šole do vključno 16. oktobra.\n\nPo teh datumih prijave ne bodo več možne.  \nKotizacija znaša 90 Eur (DDV vključen)\, upokojenci in specializanti so oproščeni. DESCRIPTION:Cenjene kolegice in kolegi! \nVabimo vas\, da se udeležite interdisciplinarne Šole obravnave PCOS s predstavitvijo Slovenskih priporočil za diagnostiko in zdravljenje PCOS\, ki jo organiziramo v sodelovanju s KO za reprodukcijo\, KO za endokrinologijo\, diabetes in presnovne bolezni UKC Ljubljana\, Oddelekom za reproduktivno medicino in ginekološko endokrinologijo\, UKC Maribor in Slovenskim združenjem za reproduktivno medicino. \nDogodek bo potekal 3. 10. 2023 v Centru Rog v Ljubljani. \nŠola obravnave PCOS bo sestavljena iz dveh delov. V dopoldanskem delu bomo predstavili diagnostiko in diferencialno diagnostiko PCOS\, prikazali presnovne vidike sindroma in natančno razložili terapevtske možnosti zdravljenja PCOS kot jih predvidevajo prva Slovenska priporočila za diagnostiko in zdravljenje PCOS. DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends\, \nIt gives me great pleasure\, as the President\, to invite you to the NINETH MIPS Annual meeting. \nThis year we will go again\, after 9 years\, to the beautiful city of Ljubljana\, Slovenia\, famous for its central location\, bridges\, surrounding caves and historical monuments. \nThe meeting will be held on 26-28 September\, 2024 in the state of the art Culture and Congress Centre of Ljubljana “Cankarjev Dom”. \nCongratulations to our Host Chair: Professor Adolf Lukanovic and Co-Chair: Dr. Kristina Drusany whom I am sure\, will organize an excellent meeting to build on the outstanding success of the Third MIPS Annual Meeting of 2015 in Ljubljana. The scientific programme includes the most recent advances in female and male pelvic floor medicine with multi-disciplinary sessions tailored to health care provider’s educational needs and training priorities as well as patient care in Mediterranean countries. This year\, we will also hold a parallel Symposium of the Slovenian Urogynecological Society that would be very interesting to our Slovenian candidates. We are currently working on the final scientific programme and hope to publish the first announcement by the fourth week of February on the MIPS website. \nSee you in Ljubljana in September\, 2024!
