Exploring the fetal brain: imaging, prognosis and counselling

Delegates will receive access to education materials and lectures to watch in advance of the a full day of live learning delivered online via livestream on Sunday 12th May 2024. ‘Exploring the fetal brain: imaging, prognosis and counselling’ is led by Prof. Francesco D’Antonio, Prof. Asma Khalil and Prof. Simon Meagher. This blended learning experience will allow delegates to engage, digest and understand key concepts from basic to advance in the fetal brain.
‘Exploring the fetal brain: imaging, prognosis and counselling’ will be centered around exploring the fetal brain. It will show delegates how to image the fetal brain with different imaging techniques using ultrasound. It will also help attendees on how to accurately scan supra and infra tentorial brain structures.
This course is relevant to obstetricians, sonographers, and midwives.
It will give you the opportunity to learn and advance in your assessment of the fetal brain and discover new approaches to identify foetuses at risk of adverse neurodevelopmental outcome that can be developed in to your own daily practice.
